Our First Project: Bicycles for Children in Bulandshahr

A First Step Toward a Better Future In many rural regions of India, long and dangerous commutes to school pose a major problem for children. Girls are particularly affected, as they face numerous hazards on the often-lengthy journey to school. Without safe means of transport, many are denied access to education.

Why Bicycles Matter: A bicycle can make a crucial difference for these girls. It enables them to get to school faster and more safely, allowing them to continue their education. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating better prospects for the future.

On December 6, 2024, we successfully implemented our first major project: thanks to a fundraising campaign, we purchased nine bicycles for disadvantaged girls at a school in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The girls were overjoyed, as their commute has now become significantly easier, allowing them to travel to school with greater safety and less physical exertion.

Further Projects in the Pipeline Our commitment does not end here. In March 2025, we visited the school in Bulandshahr again and discussed further ways to support the girls with the principal. Our goal is to enable even more children to attend school and thereby offer them better prospects for the future.
